Fighting Tigers Academy
The Fighting Tigers Academy has a long history in the Chicago area. In 1970 World Grand Master Yang Song Oh (Tiger Yang) had come from Korea as an Asian Champion and opened the first Tiger Karate Academy. In 1995 Grand Master Alfredo Rodriguez (Chino) and Master Frank Santoria had continued their training and combined styles of the Two Tiger System. ( Ni Tora Seido-Kai )The Fighting Tigers Academy is known for creating Local , State , National, and International Champions. Grand Master Chino's background has many powerful styles in the art's. His long record of competition has won him national attention and earned him a U.S.A Hall of Fame in martial art's. The Fighting Tigers Academy Instructors are number one in creating the next generation in top fighters and competitors . Chicago Combat is our competition team name. With excellent instruction in the Art's and with over 120 years of experience. It is the main reason for creating "Champions". The Chicago Martial Arts Association was created in 1998 to combine multiple schools and provide support for each other. There are many schools in the Chicago land area that are always looking for additional activities and the association works to provide these programs.The C.M.A.A sponsors tournaments for all of the students who learn to compete and most important to train hard and always stay positive. The following programs we offer at our school are Self Defense, Boxing, Kickboxing, and Mixed Martial Arts for kids, teens and adults.

We make sure each student receives individual attention and instruction during class. By bringing individual instruction to each and every student we believe the students become mentally and physically stronger. Our training emphasizes technique in addition to an overall approach to the application of a combination of marital arts. We introduce many effective techniques from multiple Martial Arts while keeping it simple to learn and apply to your opponent or attacker.

Summer is over and school is now beginning. We wish to thank everyone for their support throughout the year.
We are going to have new classes starting October: Adult Fitness, Military MMA, Little Tigers classes for 3-6 years old, Weapons Class, and a Self-defense for Women and Teens.
This year we will be hosting an Evening with the Masters for our 15th year. It will be in November and it is free for the community. This is when you get to see your student perform in front of a large crowd and they will be able to demonstrate their Martial Arts Skills.
The family that recruit's the most student's will also receive a Great Prize. We are excited for the New Season starting and are looking forward to getting newer and better equipment for the students to train with.
Did you know we rent out the school on the weekends for Parties?
Birthday, Communion, Anniversary, etc......
Why pay a huge price for a hall, when our members can use our facility for a fraction of the cost.
If you have any ideas for our school/programs, please let us know. We are always looking for newer and better ways to improve the school.
If you would like to start an Advisory Council for the school, we would be gladly open for this idea.

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR STUDENTS WHO REPRESENT CHICAGO COMBAT AT NORTH AMERICAN GRAPPLING ASSOCIATION. OUR THREE COMPETITORS TOOK HOME 1ST PLACE AND ONE THIRD PLACE WIN. HARD TRAINING AND QUALITY INSTRUCTION PAID OFF FOR TEAM CHICAGO COMBAT. THANKS TO THE COACHES FOR TEACHING THE PROPER SKILLS TO BECOME CHAMPIONS.
